No need to buy all the makeup brushes, eyeliner or lipstick shades. In most cases, only a few colors that will highlight your skin tone and eye color, which makes it absurd to spend so much money on items you’ll use only once. With that out of the way, here’s a beginner’s guide to help you get started:

Foundations for Success

When you read “bases for success” here, I mean the real foundation to be used to mask defects or uneven skin tones, but we’re talking about the first steps to prepare the skin for the application soft makeup. Always start with freshly washed face that is not going to add the makeup on top of the dirt.

These are the steps you have to follow before applying makeup:

Clean the skin with cleanser or wash it to remove oil and dirt from the skin.

Exfoliate to remove dead skin from the skin. Hydrates the skin, as it keeps the skin supple to prevent aging. For mature skin, an additional step would be to apply an anti-aging moisturizer before, to work on fine lines, wrinkles, blemishes and more proactive. The age at which a woman must wait to see you start aging is in his early to mid 30′s, however, women should start using anti aging products as quickly as possible.

Base

If you know that you are wearing makeup for a long period of time such as school or work, the base is a necessity. The base softens the skin and keeps your makeup in place throughout the day until you are ready for removal.

Concealers and foundations

These two elements are the most difficult to acquire, if you are shopping in a store which does not allow you to test the makeup and / or does not provide GenFx natural light. The best way to choose the perfect base corrector and is testing it on the face or back of the hand with natural light, however, if you can not open the products in stores, is difficult.

Hold the bottle of concealer or foundation to your face and choose the one that seems closest to your natural skin color. In most cases, apply concealer first pimples, red areas or undereye circles and then spread it gently.

Tools for base / Corrector

Brush the base are a nice thing to have but not necessary. You can apply foundation with your fingers, assuming it’s the cream, mousse or liquid form. Concealer brushes also a luxury item and not a distribution tool must have a beginner. If you’re willing to spend money and buy makeup brushes, it is from a reputable brand.

Blush

The base can sometimes make your face look dimensional and flat, so use blush to add color to your cheeks and make it more natural makeup. There are a lot of blush to choose from, but the peach or pink tones work well for almost all skin tones and blend easily to create a pretty nice glow on her cheeks.

To apply blush, smile and use a brush on the apples of your cheeks. Mix the color to the temples, gently moving the brush in small circular motions.

Eyeliner

Use eyeliner to draw attention to your eyes. This is a bit complicated, but with practice, it is easier. There are several formulas to choose from, including gel, liquid or pencil eyeliner that come in different colors, the base-to-color is black eyeliner.

Gel and liquid eyeliners tend to be easier to work with because they usually come with a brush or applicator at an angle that lets you start with small lines, and make them grow a thicker line, if you prefer.

Apply eyeliner on the upper lash line, following as close as possible to the eyelashes, and then gradually make the line thicker as you reach the corner of the eye. To keep your eyes open looking awake and do not apply eyeliner to the bottom lash line.

Mask

For women with short lashes, mascara is a good one to give volume, help your eyes look more awake and large.

Eye Shadow

The three colors that a beginner should have are: a flesh-colored, dark brown color and halftone. These three colors can create multiple styles and colors that complement can be added to your collection. Apply the lighter color of eyeshadow in the inner corners of the eyes and the darker color of the outside corners. Mix the colors together with the half-tone color at the center of the eyelid, which creates a smoky eyes look.
